Property Description
Our Beacons Condo "Beach Bummin" is located in Seagrove on the BEACHSIDE of Hwy 30Ahalfway between Panama City and Destin. Neighboring Seaside, Seacrest, Grayton Beach and all the South Walton Beaches are close by on scenic 30A and can be reached by bike or foot.
Our great location makes our unit a good value. We are ONE mile from the Seaside Town Square and within walking distance to many Seagrove and Seaside shops and restaurants. A Publix grocery shopping center is just around the corner. We keep our calendar updated, so please check it out to see if we can accommodate your vacation dates.
Our convenient first floor unit is in the second building back from the beach. Simply walk out our back door to the condo’s private beach access. There you can view the sugar white sand, aqua waters and enjoy the dolphins passing by and sandpipers pecking in the sand. There is a seating area to watch the sunset as the day draws to an end. Our unit has a queen-size bed in the master bedroom with it’s own private bath. The second bedroom has two full-size beds and is located right next to the hall bathroom. New furniture for the living room and kitchen was purchased in May 2008. Both bedrooms also received brand new mattresses in May 2008. There is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. We have a fully equipped kitchen with all the utensils needed for any meal of the day. The unit is also furnished with a washer and dryer unit for your convenience. Our brightly decorated condo has been a hit with all our guest, we know you will enjoy it too!
A wet bar and an Entertainment center in living room features TV with surround sound, DVD/VCR Stereo unit. Each bedroom has it’s own TV with DVD player and ceiling fan. Take a ride/walk on the 18-mile bike/walking trail out front that parallels 30A from Inlet beach to Blue Mountain Beach. The trail has nine miles off-road trails and runs alongside lakes, through woodlands and beach areas. Bikes are available for rental at several nearby locations.
Picturesque Deer Lake State Park is a few miles from the condo and has 1700-acres of old, unmarked hiking trails, plus172-acres of beach and lake areas. Grayton State Park is a few miles in the other direction and has 2000+ acres of beaches, nature trail sand picnic areas. Eden State Gardens is a short drive north on 395 and sits on Tucker Bayou. This is a perfect place for a picnic-lunch under the huge moss-draped live-oaks.
Fishing charters, dolphin sunset cruise sand water-sports can be found both in Destin and Panama City Beach. Numerous top-ranking golf courses can be found throughout the area. Camp Creek Golf Club and Santa Rosa Golf Club are each within a few miles east and west of the condo.
An array of shopping and dining can be found throughout 30A and there is an extremely good outlet mall (Silver Sands) on 98 towards Destin.
